2008 Ankh Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley

Gorgeous red to purple color with open aromas of ripe berry and cassis. Currant, nut and pepper highlight this well-balanced, medium-bodied cabernet. The firm tannins are well integrated, and help indicate the age-worthiness of this wine. Flavors persist with a very long, well tiered finish. French oak was used in the wine but shows restraint. Emphasis is on balance. While drinking well now, this wine will benefit from cellaring for a decade or more.

Deep red color with dark fruits and herbal notes on the nose. This is classic cabernet sauvignon. The tannins in this age-worthy wine are firm, but will integrate well with some time in the bottle.
